Dark in color, with black reflections at the core, this full-throttle Cabernet Sauvignon smells of cold asphalt, fireplace cinders, black currants and vanilla bean. The mega-bodied palate layers on savory spice and dried black plum skin. The structure is bracingly firm with pronounced, drying tannins and decent acidic tension. While clearly ambitious, this feels hard right now. Drink now–2024.
