Despite the overt, red fruit feistiness, the fallen autumn leaves and baked cobbler fruit flavors show some initial and positive development in this wine. The medium-bodied palate delivers robust fruit concentration that is brilliantly balanced between the harmonious, lilting acidity and the velvety tannins. Despite the lingering finish and layered complexity, this delicate wine may not make old bones. Still, it is downright scrumptious and drinking very well now. Drink now–2025.
