This Malbec offers a black core with a bright, cranberry-colored rim. The aromas begin with an almost leafy, green note that in the end is more akin to aloe, followed by black currant notes along with musk and anise. The attack is thick, and the liquid settling onto the palate is heavy and slightly tiresome with only moderate acidity. Nonetheless, the taste lingers on the palate. The tannins are abundant and unsophisticated, but they seem fitting for the wine’s style.
