The slightly reductive nose is initially distracting, but pretty aromas of Asian pear and verbena emerge with time. The medium-bodied, well-balanced palate, with appealing, bustling lift, is uniquely floral and decidedly herbal. Surprisingly, it finishes fairly swiftly but it is very pleasant on the front end. This is sure to be a crowd-pleaser among lovers of mineral, acidity-driven wines. Though not especially complex, this silk-textured wine is very polished. Drink now–2024.
