Smelling of mulberries, black plums and spice rack, this wine is plush and broad on the medium-bodied attack. The ripe elderberry flavors are straight-forward but tasty. Pronounced, refreshing acidity meets highly-structured tannins to create firm lift and chiseled refreshment that verges on angular. This is emphasized by the moderate concentration and rather light complexity. The dry and savory finish, with a whisper of allspice, effectively evaporates. Drink now–2024.
