Deeply colored and outgoing on the nose, this is a charismatic blend with full-throttle everything: flavor, concentration, palate intensity and harmony. While the body is bold and hedonistic, the harmonious midpalate shows seamless, ripe tannins and integrated acidity. Still, the alcohol is riotously high, to the point that the wine feels more like a fortified wine than a still one. Unctuously ripe mulberry meets blueberry coulis with a trailer of sweet milk chocolate on the long finish. Drink now–2025.
