Packed with youthful fruits, this dark wine smells of cassis, black plum and black cherry coulis. Sweet spice, vanilla and dill join the concentrated, boisterous fruit on the voluptuous palate. Dense but suave tannins surround the chunky, full-bodied palate lifted by well-placed, invigorating acidity. While the oak is overt now, it should have plenty of time to settle in thanks to the good complexity and long length of the finish. Drink now–2026.
