This wine’s nose is gregarious in aromas of mulberry and cherry pit laced with black pepper and caramel. The attack is creamy—almost custardy—thanks to generous glycerol and lightly warm alcohol. Strong acidic perk brightens up the back palate and largely provides the structure while the cuddly tannins lounge on the sidelines. While youthful, there’s a hint of leather. Drink now–2024.
