Rather anonymous on the nose, the palate pops with black cherry and black plum laced with balsamic. While the upfront fruit is compelling, the flavors fall quickly off the finish. With air, the wine reveals some raisin notes along with baked black fig. The acidity is graceful and well-placed and the tannins are clipped and lightly drying. Drink now–2023.
