Lightly smoky as it sneaks out of the glass, hints of lime peel, white peach and hay start off the aromas. The palate follows with cantaloupe and bitter lemon peel. Light bodied, airy and elegant, this is a lacey, open-knit white, with lightly tangy acidity to focus its structure. While the wine starts with a light sweetness, it turns dry on the medium finish with an almost tannic tug. A marked minerality hovers on the finish. Drink now–2024.
