This wine has a distinctly iron-driven note on the nose and palate that gives it a savory edge. Nonetheless, it has an ample, supple palate with oodles of black currant and blackberry fruit. The whole package is encased in puffy, nicely padded tannins and electrified by edgy acidity. Upfront, immediate and imminently ready to drink, this has much to enjoy in the medium term.
