Wow! In color and in fruit aromatics, this youthful wine is textbook Cabernet Sauvignon. Black currant, cassis, menthol and forest floor blast from the glass. Dense and juicy on the palate, the flavors seem to multiply on the well-balanced, harmonious palate. Broad and pleasantly grainy tannins do the heavy lifting while the acidity remains in the background. The medium finish suggests that this wine should hold and possibly develop well in bottle for at least a few years.
