This soars out of the glass with cherry Kool-Aid, ašai and perfume counter floral aromatics. There is a candied edge from the attack through the finish that is slightly distracting. The red cherries and cranberries on the palate are dense with their mouthcoating generosity, and the alcohol is just slightly noticeable. As evidenced by its moderate finish and modest complexity, this is ready to be enjoyed over the next two years. It is sure to be a crowd-pleaser and would be especially good as a wine by the glass in casual settings.
