Bold and aromatic on the nose, this wine smells of candied cherries, black licorice and sweet violets. The exotic and highly enticing palate is dense, compact and sings with black fruit flavors. There is excellent intensity here, but the pleasant freshness of fruit remains vividly pure. Seamless tannins are well crafted and the acidity is lifting but integrated.
