Midnight black at the core, this wine shows a hint of development in the cranberry-brick sliver at the rim. Generous aromas rush out of the glass. Bramble, licorice, plum jelly and potpourri spice create an effusive greeting. The palate is lightly thick, with densely layered flavors and ample viscosity that creates a sticky feeling on the solid finish. Acidity is gentle and the tannins refined. This wine is drinking very well now and should be enjoyed by 2026.
