Exuberant, youthful aromas of creamy coconut pie in pastry and sweet citrus start the nose. A strong poached pear note surfaces as the wine opens. The mid-weight palate diverges to the savory side with almonds, fresh spice and saltiness. The wine has good concentration on the attack though the finish is moderate. The racy acidity is a touch disjointed now, but there is enough punchy dynamism here to still be attractive. Drink up.
