Dazzlingly aromatic, this wine conveys savory Worcestershire spices. The hearty, deeply vinous palate is as brazenly dynamic as the nose, with strong flavors of dry-aged steak, roasted plums, baked black cherries and oodles of freshly grated spices. Tannins have a mild firmness but do not dry the palate, and the acidity is discreet. Very drinkable now, this wine should perform well over the next few years.
