Like a four-wheeler speeding full throttle down a winding hill, this big and bold wine needs a driver in control. You’ll find cassis, chocolate, graphite and sage, but lavished with tannins and fruit. It wants more acid to offer a little balance and a decadent, fatty cut of meat. This wine is meant to cellar for at least another five to eight years.
