In the glass, cherry, strawberry and rhubarb are all moving towards just ripe, but on the midplate, the fruit is buoyant and rose petal takes over. The vibrancy is propelled forward by acidity, but imposing aspects of Bandaid, paint thinner and Magic Marker take over as the wine comes up in temperature. This is a wine that should be drunk now and served extremely cold.
