This is a wine of many layers: violet and lavender flowers, prune, dark chocolate, beef broth, peach yogurt and tobacco leaf. Pronounced tannins contribute to the firm structure. The finish lingers. This wine needs some time to come into full fruition. Hold five to eight years.
