Plum, cassis, blackberry, dark chocolate, tobacco and a subtle hint of menthol in the finish. There is a provocative youthfulness of fruit and vibrancy here that is alluring. The acidity adds a freshness while the tannins persist. Structure is firm. The wine is unassuming at first sip and smell, but will mature with grace. Shelve for another eight to 10 years.
