In the glass, the pale gold color gleams with intensity. The nose is generously perfumed with citrus peel, orange pulp, rose petals and marjoram. On the palate, the attack is dry, the acidity is moderate but supporting, and the midpalate is full and creamy. A hint of pleasant tannin creeps in on the rather quick finish. This bottling is approaching its peak: Drink now through late 2013.
