This wine is a deep yellow color with crystalline reflections. The aromas on this wine tend to the exotic—pineapple, mango and quince. There’s lots of body, good midpalate density, medium-plus alcohol and restrained acidity, along with a pleasant sensation of tannin on the finish. It’s not as fresh as might be expected for a 2012, but it is showing well nonetheless. Delicious, but not for aging drink within the year.
