In appearance, the wine is pale straw, clear and bright, with a tint of green. From afar, it is generously fragrant, with the scent of bell pepper, but upon closer sniff, there’s an expression of herbs, chive, grass, melon and yellow grapefruit are underscored by a faint whiff of florals, lilies and jasmine. The palate, not quite as nuanced as the nose, has a slight spritz. The medium-plus acid languishes, but the titillating, zesty freshness dissipates rather quickly.
