The nose on this salmon-hued wine surprises with cherry and raisin notes. The fruit evolves aromatically to herbs, tarragon and thyme. On the palate, the fruit is a little more fresh. An herbaceousness still persists in the finish, though and a wet-rock minerality explodes on the back palate. This is definitely a summer patio crowd pleaser that could pair with poultry on the grill.
