This cerebral wine opens with an alluring whiff of petrol. Depth is evident immediately on the nose with layered aromas of sun-kissed crabapple, kumquat zest, dried herbs, almond skin and Asian pear. Dried lemon peel and the faintest suggestion of white peach walk in lockstep on the palate framed by dried honeysuckle and lilac.
