Straw colored with loads of tiny bubbles seething through the wine’s core, this wine is lightly foxy on the nose and shows flavors of ripe pear, papaya, ginger and bay leaf. There is a clear division between the fruit and the zesty green characters that create excitement on the palate. Medium bodied with refreshing bubbles, the wine shows enough residual sugar to balance out the light tannins. It finishes short and easy, suggesting it should be drunk up early, 2013–2014.
