This wine has a deep and slightly hazy core. The palate is full bodied, but its moderate fruit concentration has a bit of trouble supporting the pronounced alcohol. The palate is silky with densely packed yet fine-grained tannins. The medium acidity is well integrated as are the oak notes of dark and milk chocolates. Now just over three years old, this wine is showing some evolution through its nuances of tobacco and fallen leaves. Leaning toward the rustic side, it should be consumed soon drink now through 2015.
