This wine’s dark mulberry core is laced with black. The nose is fresh and fruit-forward, with sweet black cherries, black currants and figs. Fruitcake spice lingers in the background. Approachable on the palate given its juicy, youthful orientation, this wine is sure to be a people pleaser. Its tannins are lightly tugging and the refreshing acidity is seamlessly integrated. Given its modest finish, there’s no need to wait as this is enticing now, and should remain enjoyable through 2016.
