This wine has a black core with a dark cranberry rim. It smells attractively of a blend of ripe black fruits and baking spices. The full-bodied and caressing palate brings on touches of autumn and damp cigar aromas. Lightly nervous acidity hones the palate, especially in face of the gossamer tannins. Medium in length but only moderate in concentration, this wine is probably already nearing its peak. Enjoy now through 2016.
