Crystal clear and deep yellow in color, this wine looks as good as it tastes. From the first sip, it’s a great California Chardonnay substitute. It is rich and full in body, round on the palate, with moderate-plus alcohol and significant oak influences of sweet spice, vanilla and yeast. The profile is bang-on, so the question is the price which, if it’s right, could make this a killer of a Cali-Chard look-alike. Drink now–2018.
