This sparkler has an alluring, deep rose color. The nose is packed with mulberry, red cherry and mulled Christmas spice. Moderately generous in flavor, there’s strawberry, baking spice and superripe watermelon on the light-bodied palate. There’s decent vigor in the light, fine-grained tannins, medium acidity and mild spritziness. It’s easy drinking and best now, as its freshness is slipping.
